To work on Rail contract and carry out site examination of structures to determine their structural condition, compile condition reports and submit for review. Must have experience in carrying out Bridge Inspections.

Experience in carrying out specialist site examinations using roped access would be an advantage as would previous rail experience, although this is not essential.

You will be required to attend an assessment day on Wednesday 22nd / Thursday 23rd February and should be available to start work asap after that. Successful Applicants will be given a medical and if they don’t already have PTS certificate will be put on this 2 day course.

Contract for Program Planner to work on Highways projects in the West Midlands, South Birmingham based. You will have overall responsibility for the development, monitoring and reporting of all relevant programmes. Primavera experience is required.

Our client require a Contract Highways Technician / Engineer in their Plymouth office to work on highway design schemes including geometric junction design / crossings / including alterations to roundabouts and signals geometric junction layouts alongside car parking layout and bus interchange facilities. Our client is a leading hydraulic modelling provider to the water industry in the UK and they are currently seeking a Hydraulic Modeller to join their modelling team in Birmingham.

Key responsibilities will include building and maintaining hydraulic models, producing MapInfo plans, contributing to the production of Drainage Area Plans and Sewerage Management Plans.

The successful Hydraulic Modeller will have experience in waster water modelling / building hydraulic models, experience with GIS databases (MapInfo) and Wallingford software (InfoWorks and InfoNet), knowledge of hydraulics and engineering principles a high level of numeracy and a relevant Degree or equivalent. Knowledge of WAPUG code of practice is also desirable.
